3. To meet my Plurk buddies
I have a lot of online friends connected to SQPN and GSPN. I’ve met these friends through Facebook, Twitter and Plurk. I’m a big fan of all three for different reasons, but Plurk is a small network and does well with featuring threaded conversation. Much like FB, someone can post a status update and other users can comment in that thread. One great option on the site is making your profile private, and allowing only certain users to see a thread. Most of the people I have connected through this site with I also connect with on other sites, but a few I don’t. A few, for instance, are not fans of Twitter (for whatever reason).
I am excited to meet all of my friends, but a few Plurk friends I’m looking forward to meeting in person. One of them is my friend John from PA. He is great on Plurk because I can count on him almost always commenting on my posts. I’m also happy to be meeting Naomi, Deb, Denyse, Sean and a few others that I interact with regularly on that site. See you all soon, friends! 🙂
