Theology on Tap with Mike Hayes

by admin on December 20, 2009

Mike Hayes is an amazing man. For those who don’t know about Mike, I have been a big fan of his for a long time. He was one of the co-founders of Busted Halo, which is an organization I have been a part of for a long time by listening to their podcasts. I reviewed them in my podcast reviews this summer. Mike wrote a great book called Googling God. This summer after I attended the CNMC in San Antonio, I called into the BustedHalo podcast with a question. For calling in, I got a free gift and Mike sent me a copy of the book.

On Thursday, Dec. 10th, I attended a Theology on Tap with Mike Hayes as the presenter. It held at Cardinal Stritch University and since they didn’t specify where it was, I spent a bit of time driving around to find some signage. Eventually I figured out where it was. He gave a great talk where he talked about the main topic “Does God Have a Plan for Me?” which was excellent. I brought my book with me and Mike signed it! I mentioned to him that he sent it to me because I had called into the podcast. He asked what the question was about and once I said the subject, he remembered it. He asked if they had sufficiently answered and I said yes. It was pretty darn awesome.

Here are some photos from that night:
